When is The Bulletin published, in print and on the Internet?

The Bulletin is published and delivered by 6:00 a.m. Pacific time on weekdays and by 7 a.m. on weekends. Articles and the classified ads from that day’s newspaper are also accessible on bendbulletin.com at 4:00 a.m., along with the facsimile view that enables readers to browse the newspaper page by page online. Content on bendbulletin.com is continuously updated.

How can I start a subscription?

Simply go to www.bendbulletin.com/whysubscribe or click the Subscriptions link in the top navigation bar on the home page at www.bendbulletin.com, or call our circulation office at 541-385-5800. You can choose a print with E-Edition subscription or an E-Edition only subscription.
Most of our print subscriptions include E-Edition access. If you are a current print subscriber and are not sure if you have access included, please e-mail us at circulation@bendbulletin.com or by phone 541-385-5800 to inquire or to upgrade your subscription.

If I start my home delivered subscription midweek, can I receive the previous Sunday’s paper?

Yes. As an added value, we can deliver the previous Sunday’s paper to you. You can also view the previous Sunday’s content online by going to www.bendbulletin.com/archive and selecting last Sunday’s date.

Why should I subscribe?

How will The Bulletin help me to save money?

How do I stop my paper temporarily while on vacation?

Delivery of the printed paper can be stopped online through our Manage My Account option. Simply click the Manage My Account link, found in the upper right hand corner of most pages, and log into your account. First-time visitors will be required to Register their account in order to select a password and update their e-mail address. Alternatively, you can go to www.bendbulletin.com/subscriptions and click Vacation Delivery Hold. Or call 541-385-5800 during business hours. Online options available for temporarily stopping The Bulletin home delivery include:
Digital Vacation Hold : to stop delivery of your printed paper but ensure continued access to bendbulletin.com content, please select a Digital Vacation Hold.
Donation of your newspaper : to stop delivery or your printed paper and donate those papers to a local program, please select one of the following.
Share Because You Care program. This allows our senior citizens, women housed in shelters, and active-duty military personnel who may not be able to afford the luxury of a newspaper each day the enjoyment of being both informed and entertained through your generosity.
NIE (Newspapers in Education) Program. This provides our local teachers with a much-needed additional resource and helps promote literacy throughout our communities.
Vacation Pack: We can save your missed papers in a Vacation Pack and deliver them to you upon your return.

    How can I find past news articles?

    Go to www.bendbulletin.com/archive and select the publication date you would like to browse. Or you can search by keyword in the search bar at the top of every page on the web site, just type in a word or phrase to search the entire database of articles. You can also click the “Advanced Search” link at the archive page, define a date range, and type in a word or phrase to search within that date range only.

    The site averages about 1.7 million page views a month and more than 140,000 unique visitors a month.

    How does the PayMeter work?

    We allow you to view 8 articles for free, every 30 days. This gives you a chance to see what we have to offer, to share article links with friends and family and to introduce you to bendbulletin.com. As you read through your selected articles, you’ll receive occasional pages that count down your allowed views for you. From these pages, you can select buttons to Subscribe, Log In if you are a subscriber with E-edition access or continue on reading.

    What do subscribers to the E-Edition receive?

    Subscribers have full access online to all the articles of the print edition of the Bulletin, plus all electronic archives. They also have the ability to comment on any article and to view the facsimile E-Edition that looks like the print paper.

    If I am a print subscriber, do I automatically get an online subscription?

    Most subscriptions include full access to the E-Edition. If you are unsure if your subscription does, or would like to upgrade to include access, please e-mail us at online@bendbulletin.com. To access the full content, simply log in by clicking the E-Edition Login link in the upper right hand corner of the home page. If you have not yet set up a password, you can do so by selecting the Register link found under First Time Signing In? If you want to receive the E-Edition only, it costs $13 for one month.     Why is The Bulletin charging a fee for E-Edition-only access?

    News and information is valuable and expensive to produce. Publishing local news to our Web site involves considerable additional investment in staff, licensing, software and hardware. As always, the leading local news stories of the day, the events calendar, weather, and much other community service content is available to everyone, without a subscription.
